By submitting an application for a project, you as the applicant acknowledge and agree to the following:
1. These Terms and Conditions (Terms) govern the submissions for projects and the successful selection of those projects by the Seaford Rotary Club (Club) for the “Decade of Difference” campaign being run by the Club (Campaign).

2. Anyone can lodge a submission for a proposed project, including members of or anyone affiliated with the Club. An applicant can lodge more than one submission for different projects.

3. Proposed projects must take place in, or clearly benefit, individuals, groups, or the broader community within the area of Seaford, South Australia. Preference will be given to submissions that align with one or more of the Rotary International’s 7 International Areas of Focus, being: (1) peace building and conflict prevention, (2) disease prevention and treatment, (3) water, sanitation and hygiene, (4) maternal and child health, (5) basic education and literacy, (6) community economic development, and (7) environment. Submissions must be lawful and appropriate. The Club reserves the right to exclude any submission that is deemed unsuitable or does not meet these requirements.

4. Submissions must be received by the Club on or by 30 August 2026. Any submissions received by the Club after this date may not be considered.

5. The applicant acknowledges that all contact information they have provided in the application is full and correct. If any details, including contact information or other information regarding their application, change, they agree to notify the Club in writing as soon as possible.

6. The Club reserves the right to seek and require further information from any applicant regarding their submission and proposed project and in order to carry out the Club’s selection process (including but not limited to financial budget, obtaining and maintaining required insurances (if applicable), and proof of third-party consent(s) (if applicable)).

7. Submission does not guarantee successful selection or implementation of that project. All submissions will be assessed by the Club against selection criteria, including alignment with Rotary values and Areas of Focus, community benefit, and feasibility.

8. The Club will determine the finalists for submissions and then the successful project or projects. Finalists will be required to submit a detailed budget for their proposed project. The Club will notify the finalists by Friday, September 11, 2026. The Club will notify the successful project or projects by Friday, September 25, 2026. All decisions by the Club are final.

9. The Club reserves the right to select one or more successful projects (Project). The Club will deliver the Project. The Club will aim for the delivery to occur over the year. The Club may collaborate with other third parties where appropriate in delivering the Project, but the Club retains full responsibility and control of the Project. The Club may also seek the practical contribution and involvement of the successful applicant in the delivery of the Project (and which may include the applicant attending at a meeting(s) of the Club). The Club will notify the applicant of the Project as well as third parties as required of the ongoing delivery and completion of the Project.

10. The Club may contribute up to a maximum of $10,000.00 toward the delivery of the Project. No funds will be directly transferred to individuals, businesses, or other organisations for those to separately carry out the Project. Projects with a budget or expense exceeding $10,000.00 will need the deficit contributed to by a third party. The Club may work with the applicant in order to source those additional funds. If they cannot be sourced within a reasonable time (as determined by the Club and in consideration of the nature of the project), then the Club reserves the right to cancel the delivery of that Project and to select another project in its place.

11. The Club reserves the right to vary, alter, or abandon the Project including for material reasons outside of their control, including but not limited to legislative or regulatory requirements or restrictions or due to the lack of consent of required third parties in the delivery of the Project.

12. The Club will carry out various marketing and advertising on the Club’s Campaign. By submitting an application, you grant the Club permission to promote your submission (in whole or in part) for advertising and promotional purposes as part of that Campaign.
