Our club held its annual changeover on Sunday, June 30 at the Maslin Beach Community Centre, where our incoming president Deborah Pagsanjan (left) was inducted by outgoing president Denise Luker. Thank you Denise for your strong leadership and congratulations for a fun and productive year of service. Highlights of the 2023/24 year include:
- 2023 Seaside Walk for Suicide Prevention – raising funds and awareness for mental health initiatives
- Supporting Remembrance Day and Anzac Day at the new Aldinga War Memorial
- Australia Day BBQ at Moana Surf Lifesaving Club
- Participating in Rotary’s “Say No to Domestic Violence” walk and the Pride of the South March
- Monthly Seaford Wetlands Cleanups with the Adopt a Spot Program
- Quiz Night to raise funds for Rainwater Tanks in Bali
- Supporting Coolock House and BreakfastBellies with donations of food and other goods
- Supporting key Rotary Programs, ROMAC & Interplast – who in turn assist with life-changing surgery & free medical support to patients in the Pacific Region & Asia
- Purchasing 10 Shelter Bags to provide warmth and dignity for people experiencing homelessness
