On Sunday, August 24th, Seaford Rotary hosted their inaugural High Tea for Breast Cancer Network Australia (BCNA) at the Moana Pioneer Memorial Hall.
The event was a sell out and catered for 80 special guests along with members of the Sisters of Abundance Choir & local band, Vintage Blend as well as members from Adelaide Survivors Abreast Dragonboat Racing Team, sharing their experiences with us.
A display of Pink Lady and Blue Men silhouettes, known as a Mini-Field of Women, were placed by individuals down the middle of the hall to symbolise those who have been impacted by breast cancer.
The High Tea was a huge success, raising $3000.00 for BCNA and will now become an annual event hosted by Seaford Rotary.
