Our club has partnered with EcoVineyards to manufacture microbat roosting boxes which are installed in trees around vineyards. These attract microbats which can eat over 1,000 insects a night, meaning vignerons do not need to use chemical insecticides. Previously we have manufactured complete boxes, but we received a request to provide them in kit form for more economical transport. Thanks to our member Kevin Brown for preparing the kits at his Best Price Wardrobes workshop. A team of volunteers lacquered, spray painted logos and packaged the kits.
